Top players are called up by Serbia for crucial games in November FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023

The list of 24 players put up by Svetislav Pesic for Serbia’s roster for the important Window 5 of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers features seasoned leaders Vladimir Lucic, Vasilije Micic, and Nikola Kalinic.
Serbia face a stiff fight to qualify for next summer’s showcase in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia, so the head coach intends to have the strongest lineup possible for the upcoming games – at Great Britain on November 11 and at home against Turkey on November 14.

With a 3-3 record in Second Round Group I, Serbia is now tied for fourth place with Belgium, who twice defeated them. Serbia will play Great Britain, who are 1-5 in the group, in a game that they absolutely must win because only the top three teams from each group advance. With Turkey entering the window with a record of 2-4, the matchup will be equally as important.
